On 26 November, successful referring to a magazine's declare that Cherie Blair had attended a shooting statement which included Saif Gaddafi, we suggested this was hypocritical and had outraged nan families of victims of nan Lockerbie bombing. We judge that Mrs Blair did not be nan shooting statement and has ne'er met Mr Gaddafi. We apologise for immoderate embarrassment caused.
